Visit a library and you will often see families and individuals who are happy and thriving. Joyful laughter at the thrill of discovery erupts here often. Ideas are generated, discoveries abound, and connections are made. But just as often, libraries serve folks experiencing hard times in their lives and have many questions – and answering is our business.

In response to a surge in the number of folks visiting the library in crisis, our Social Work Intern is here to help direct community members to resources.  Meet with her on Mondays, from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM and Tuesdays 1:00 PM-3:00 PM to learn more. If you can’t attend at this time, set up a one-on-one appointment by calling the Information Desk at 518-810-0314.
