The library offers a limited number of desktop computers for public use, as well as an open Wi-Fi network.
Library Computers
Windows-based computers are available for public use on a first come, first served basis.
- Adult-designated computers located in the front of the library
- Teen-designated computers located in The Cube for ages 12-19
- Youth-designated computers located in the Children’s Room; children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult
- Log in with your library card number, or if you do not have a library card, ask the Information Desk for a guest pass
- May be used for up to 2 hours per day, subject to computer availability and demand
- Computers turn off 15 minutes before closing
- No appointment required
Software and Safety
- Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher
- Adobe Reader
- Browsers: Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge
- All search history and downloaded files are deleted from the computers when the patron logs off their session. Patrons are advised to save work to their own flash drives.
Computer Assistance
- Inquire at the Information Desk for assistance
- More involved assistance may require a one on one appointment
- Computer classes are offered regularly, check the Calendar for availability
Printing
- Print virtually any document or web page from your internet connected device to the library’s printer
- 8.5″ x 11″
- $.20/page for black and white; $.50/page for color
- Print from Anywhere allows patron to print from any device outside of the building
- Print jobs are saved from midnight to closing hours
- Use the Print Release Station located near photocopier

Photocopying
- 8.5″ x 11″ and 8.5″ x 14
- $.20/page for black and white; $.50/page for color (cash only)
Scanning
- No charge
- Black and white and color scanning via the photocopier
- Patrons are advised to bring their own flash drive or scan to an email address
- Scanning documents to a flash drive or email address
Faxing
- Self-service fax machine is located next to the public copier
- Pick up the handset for step-by-step directions
- $1.75 for the first page, $1.00 each additional page
- Credit/debit cards only – tap to pay is not available
- 20 page maximum per fax
- Confirmation via text message or web browser
- Fax machine reads only one side. For double-sided documents, make copies of the alternate sides
Maker Lab
- To use equipment in the Maker Lab, the user must first attend an orientation on that equipment. Some equipment requires class attendance, while other equipment requires an individual orientation. More details about orientation
- After orientation, the user must review the policy and sign a user agreement before using the equipment.
- To request an individual orientation or lab time, submit this form.
- Appointment availability may be limited by staff and equipment availability.
